Description
Hellamyeon uses a single pack of spicy Samyang Buldak Hot Chicken ramen noodles cooked according to package instructions. Once drained, the noodles are thoroughly mixed with the included fire sauce seasoning and dried seaweed to integrate the bold spicy flavor evenly.
Shredded cheese is placed on top of the hot noodles and melted either under a broiler or in a microwave, creating a creamy, gooey layer that moderates the spiciness while adding richness. Separately, sweet corn is combined with mayonnaise to form a cool, slightly sweet topping.
The corn mixture is spooned onto the cheesy noodles, garnished optionally with fresh parsley for a hint of freshness. Ingredients
Corn mixture:
- 3 tablespoon sweet corn
- 1 tablespoon mayonnaise
Noodles:
- 1 pack ramen noodles 1x spicy, Samyang Buldak Hot Chicken flavour
- 3 tablespoon cheese shredded
Garnish:
- parsley optional
Instructions
Prepare the corn mixture:
- In a bowl, combine sweet corn with mayonnaise and mix well. Set aside.
Make the noodles:
- Bring a pot of water up to a boil.
- Add 1 pack of Buldak noodles to the water and cook according to the package directions.
- Drain the noodles.
Assemble:
- Add the seasoning pack (fire sauce) into a microwave or oven-safe serving bowl.
- Pour the noodles into the sauce and mix well with a pair of tongs.
- Add in the dried seaweed pack and mix again.
- Place shredded cheese on top of the hot noodles.
- Melt the cheese in a broiler for a few minutes or in the microwave for 30-60 seconds.
- Top with corn mixture and garnish with fresh parsley.
- Give the noodles a good mix and serve immediately.
- Note: If you don't like mayonnaise, omit the mayo and top with sweet corn.
