Herb Roasted Pork Tenderloin

Herb Roasted Pork Tenderloin features a pork tenderloin seasoned with a blend of dried basil, thyme, rosemary, garlic, salt, pepper, and olive oil, then roasted until juicy and tender. The garlic and fragrant herbs infuse the meat during roasting at 400ºF, resulting in a savory, aromatic main dish with a lightly crisp exterior and moist interior.

Description

This recipe prepares pork tenderloin by coating it with a mix of minced garlic, dried basil, thyme, crushed rosemary, olive oil, salt, and freshly cracked black pepper. The herb mixture is spread over the entire surface, including underneath, to evenly flavor the meat.

The seasoned tenderloin is roasted in a preheated oven at 400ºF for about 35 minutes or until an internal temperature of at least 145ºF is reached. This roasting process yields tender, juicy pork with a slightly crisp exterior, while the herbs and garlic provide aromatic notes that complement the mild flavor of the meat.

After roasting, resting the meat at room temperature for 10 minutes allows juices to redistribute, ensuring moist and flavorful slices. This roast is versatile for dinner and pairs well with simple sides like roasted vegetables or a green salad.
