Hershey Kiss pretzels

Report
Hershey Kiss pretzels combine crunchy pretzels with melted Hugs chocolate and a colorful M&M on top, creating a sweet and salty bite-sized treat. The baking briefly softens the chocolate to allow an M&M to adhere without losing all shape, resulting in a firm, glossy finish after cooling. These snacks balance crunchy pretzels with smooth chocolate and vibrant candy coating for an easy party snack or holiday treat.

Description

The Hershey Kiss pretzels recipe uses pretzels as a sturdy base topped with Hugs chocolates that melt slightly in a low-temperature oven, allowing an M&M candy to be pressed on before the chocolate hardens. Baking at 200°F gently softens the chocolate without fully melting it, preserving the overall shape and creating a nice texture contrast between the crisp pretzels and smooth, slightly softened chocolate. The final cooling step solidifies the candies together into a cohesive snack.

The combination of saltiness from the pretzels and sweetness from the chocolate and candy coating makes these treats a popular snack during holidays or parties. They are easy to prepare on a single baking sheet and portioned individually for quick serving. They can also be refrigerated to speed up the chocolate hardening process.

Serving these pretzels as a finger food works well for gatherings, and leftovers keep for up to a week in an airtight container. Their bite-size form factor makes portion control simple while offering contrasting textures and colors.
