Holiday Chocolate Covered Pretzel Rods

Holiday Chocolate Covered Pretzel Rods are a festive treat featuring crunchy pretzel sticks dipped in warm white chocolate tinted with blue gel food coloring. The chocolate coating is finished with colorful holiday sprinkles before setting, resulting in a crunchy, sweet, and decorative snack ideal for holiday celebrations or gifts.

Description

The recipe melts white chocolate in a double boiler until glossy and smooth. Each pretzel rod is dipped into the chocolate, then the excess is tapped off to maintain an even coating. While the chocolate is still tacky, holiday sprinkles are applied for a bright, festive look. Once set, either at room temperature or chilled briefly in the refrigerator, the rods become crisp with a sweet coating contrasting the salty pretzels.

This simple preparation highlights the combination of sweet white chocolate and the salty crunch of pretzels, enhanced by the addition of color and sprinkles to evoke a holiday theme.

They can be made ahead and kept slightly chilled until serving, providing an attractive and easy-to-make festive confection.
