Homemade Almond Joy

Homemade Almond Joy treats feature a sweetened shredded coconut mixture topped with a roasted almond and coated in smooth dark chocolate. This no-bake candy captures the familiar flavor and texture of the classic confection with a rich, layered combination of coconut, almond, and chocolate.

Description

This Homemade Almond Joy recipe creates candy cups with a base of shredded sweetened coconut combined with sweetened condensed milk and vanilla to form a sticky, sweet filling. The use of sweetened condensed milk binds the coconut and adds a creamy sweetness. Individual portions are assembled in mini cupcake liners, beginning with a layer of melted chocolate mixed with coconut oil to ensure smoothness and shine. This is followed by scooping the coconut filling on top and pressing a single roasted almond into each. The candies are then covered with more melted chocolate before chilling to set. The finished treats provide a chewy coconut center with the crunch of the almond and the rich coating of chocolate, mimicking the commercial candy bar but made from scratch for a personalized touch.
