Homemade Chicken Alfredo Recipe
Description
Homemade Chicken Alfredo Recipe features chicken breast strips cooked to a golden brown and combined with fettuccine pasta in a sauce made from olive oil, minced garlic, chicken broth, lemon juice, heavy cream, and freshly grated Parmesan cheese. The garlic is first sautéed to release flavor, then the broth and lemon juice are added to create a bright and savory base. Heavy cream enriches the sauce, coating the pasta and chicken for a smooth, creamy finish. Fresh parsley sprinkled on top provides a mild herbal contrast.
The texture is creamy and smooth, with tender pieces of chicken and al dente pasta. Cooking the chicken separately before adding it to the sauce preserves its juiciness. The lemon juice adds a hint of acidity to balance the richness of the cream and cheese.
This dish is suitable for a comforting meal when a traditional Alfredo flavor is desired with a homemade touch, combining protein and pasta in a single, well-rounded plate. It pairs nicely with a simple green salad or steamed vegetables.
According to the notes, leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to three days, making it convenient for meal planning and reheating.
