Ingredients
- 6 oz tomato paste
- ¼ cup olive oil
- 1 cup water
- 1 ½ tsp oregano
- ¾ tsp rosemary
- ½ tsp sage
- ¼ tsp marjoram
- ¼ tsp salt

- Simply whisk all of the ingredients together in a small bowl. Assemble with the pizza as necessary.

- I mix canned tomato paste with water and olive oil to make a more oil-based pizza sauce.
- This recipe would be absolutely delicious with fresh rosemary, though dried rosemary works just as well.
- I use rubbed sage, however you can use whatever form of sage you have on hand (even fresh)
- Marjoram and oregano are vaguely similar to one another in flavor, though its profile is a bit milder.
- If you don’t have tomato paste, you can use canned tomato sauce in a pinch.
- Feel free to use fresh herbs if you have them on hand/can find them! Chop them up very finely to stir them into the sauce.
