  • 1 yellow cake mix 15.25 ounces
  • 4 egg large
  • 2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 8 ounces sour cream
  • 3/4 cup vegetable oil
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon

For the Icing:

  • 2 cups confectioners sugar
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit and spray a 9X13 baking pan with non-stick cooking spray.
  2. Stir together the cake mix, sour cream, eggs vanilla extract and vegetable oil together in a large bowl.
  3. In a separate small bowl, stir together the brown sugar and ground cinnamon.
  4. Pour half of the cake batter in the prepared 9X13 pan.
  5. Sprinkle the brown sugar and cinnamon mixture on top of the cake batter.
  6. Pour the remaining cake batter on top.  Gently swirl the batter a few times together with a knife.
  7. Bake for 30-35 minutes until a toothpick inserted into the cake comes out clean.
  8. Stir together the icing ingredients in a bowl.
  9. Pour the icing over the warm cake.  Cool the cake completely and then it’s ready to serve and enjoy!

Notes

  • Store any leftover cake in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 4-5 days.
