Ingredients
- 2 pounds boneless skinless chicken thighs or breasts
- ¾ cup ketchup
- 2-3 chipotle peppers in adobo sauce
- 2 tablespoons apple cider vinegar
- 2 tablespoons light brown sugar
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- ¼ cup honey
- ½ teaspoon salt
- ½ teaspoon garlic powder
- ½ teaspoon ground cumin
- ½ teaspoon black pepper

Instructions
- Preheat the grill to medium-high heat.
- Add ¾ cup ketchup, 2-3 chipotle peppers in adobo sauce, 2 tablespoons apple cider vinegar, 2 tablespoons light brown sugar, 1 tablespoon worcestershire sauce, ¼ cup honey, ½ teaspoon salt, ½ teaspoon garlic powder, ½ teaspoon ground cumin, and ½ teaspoon black pepper to a blender or a food process and blend until smooth. Reserve a portion of the sauce to the side for the final basting of the chicken.
- Season 2 pounds boneless skinless chicken thighs or breasts with salt and pepper before placing them on the heated grill. Baste the chicken generously with the sauce.
- Turn the chicken over after about 2 minutes and baste again with the sauce. Continue to grill the chicken until it reaches 165 degrees Fahrenheit and is no longer pink in the center.
- Baste the chicken one last time with the reserved sauce before serving.
