  • Slow cooker

Chicken Wings Ingredients:

  • 1 kg chicken wings
  • 1 Tbsp Ginger Puree
  • 1 Tbsp Garlic puree
  • 1 Tbsp Chinese five spice
  • 1 Tbsp honey
  • 2 Tsp soy sauce
  • salt & pepper

For Serving:

  • 1 Tsp Garlic puree
  • 2 Tbsp honey
  • 1 Tsp soy sauce

Instructions

  1. Season chicken wings with salt and pepper. Add marinade ingredients into the slow cooker.
  2. Mix up the marinade ingredients until they are similar to a thick marinade.
  3. Add in chicken wings and mix and then cook on high for 4 hours or low for 7 hours.
  4. Remove liquid and add extra honey, garlic and soy and stir.
  5. Coat the wings in extra sauce before serving.

Notes

  • Ahead. You can also make your chicken wings ahead and then turn on the slow cooker when you need to start cooking them.
  • BBQ. As an alternative for after cooking, coat them in our homemade barbecue sauce.
