Honey Mustard Chicken Tenders
Description
Honey Mustard Chicken Tenders feature boneless chicken pieces coated in a marinade combining honey, yellow mustard, soy sauce (or coconut aminos), black pepper, garlic powder, and salt. This mixture infuses the chicken with a sweet and tangy flavor profile complemented by savory undertones. The tenders marinate in the refrigerator for at least two hours, allowing time for the flavors to penetrate. When cooked in a preheated skillet with a splash of oil, the tenders form a gentle sear while retaining juiciness inside. Flipping every couple of minutes during the 8-minute cook ensures an even, golden exterior.
These tenders serve as a versatile protein option. They can be enjoyed on their own, used in wraps or salads, or paired with steamed vegetables and grains for balanced meals. The recipe's straightforward ingredients and method make it approachable for home cooks seeking reliable, flavorful chicken options. Leftovers store well refrigerated for up to four days and reheat quickly in a pan or microwave.
