Honey Sriracha Brussels Sprouts

Honey Sriracha Brussels Sprouts are roasted until tender and crispy with a coating of olive oil, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. After roasting, they are tossed with a sweet and spicy honey-sriracha sauce and roasted a bit longer to glaze the sprouts. This method creates a balance of caramelized edges, mellow sweetness, and moderate heat, making the sprouts a flavorful vegetable side or snack.

Description

The Brussels sprouts are halved and tossed in olive oil, seasoned with garlic powder, salt, and black pepper to enhance their natural flavors. They are roasted cut-side down at a high temperature to encourage browning and crisp edges while maintaining a tender interior.

Once partially roasted, the sprouts are combined with a drizzle of honey and sriracha sauce, which provides a sticky glaze combining sweetness and heat. The dish is returned to the oven for several minutes to allow the sauce to caramelize slightly, coating the sprouts evenly.

This preparation works well as a side dish complementing various main courses or as a tasty snack. The robust flavor and textural contrast suit those who appreciate a balance between savory, sweet, and spicy elements in a vegetable dish.
