Honey Sriracha Chicken Tenders

Honey Sriracha Chicken Tenders feature boneless, skinless chicken tenders seasoned with salt, pepper, and garlic powder, then cooked in oil until lightly browned. A blend of honey and sriracha sauce finishes the chicken with a sweet and spicy glaze that coats each tender. The cooking process includes a step to baste the tenders gently, ensuring an even distribution of the sauce and a balance of flavors. These tenders offer a mix of savory, sweet, and spicy elements with a tender texture.

Description

Honey Sriracha Chicken Tenders combine simple seasonings with a homemade sauce made from honey and sriracha to create a flavorful glaze. Tenders are first seasoned and cooked in a hot skillet, developing a light crust from the cooking oil. After an initial cook, the heat is lowered and the honey-sriracha mixture is added to the pan, allowing the tenders to simmer and become coated in a sticky, sweet-spicy sauce. The tenderness of the chicken pairs well with the glaze's notes of heat and sweetness.

This dish can be served warm as a main entrée or cooled and added cold to salads for a flavorful protein addition. The balance of sweet honey with spicy sriracha makes it versatile for pairing with rice, vegetables, or greens.

The recipe notes suggest cooking batches separately when making a double amount to avoid overcrowding the pan and reheating leftovers gently in a lightly oiled skillet to maintain texture and flavor.
