Hot Chocolate Cinnamon Rolls
Description
The dough is prepared by combining triple chocolate cake mix with flour, warm water, and yeast, then kneaded until elastic and allowed to rise until doubled. After rolling out thin, the dough is brushed with melted butter and sprinkled generously with Mallo bits and mini chocolate chips, creating a sweet, chocolate-packed filling.
Rolling the dough into a log and slicing into rolls forms the cinnamon rolls, which rise again before baking to develop a soft, airy interior and a slightly crisp exterior. Once baked and cooled, the rolls are drizzled with chocolate sauce, reinforcing the chocolate flavor theme throughout.
This recipe blends chocolate components from base to topping, creating a richly textured roll suited for dessert or a special breakfast treat.
