Ingredients

Servings
  • 1 dark chocolate or semi-sweet chocolate, about 100g
  • 2 cups milk
  • 2 cups water
  • Whipped Cream for serving
  • chocolate shavings for serving

Instructions

  1. Using a small saucepan, heat up the milk. DO NOT boil.
  2. Break the chocolate bar into small pieces and melt in a second saucepan over low heat.
  3. Slowly add the hot milk to the melted chocolate stirring all the while. Then add the water.
  4. Heat everything up again without boiling and pour into mugs for serving.
  5. Serve with lots of whipped cream and chocolate shavings.

Notes

  • - For a more intense chocolate flavor add more chocolate to the recipe.
  • - For a more sweeter drink, use milk chocolate instead of dark chocolate. You can also add some sugar to the drink instead.
