This homemade hot honey is so quick and easy to make! It’s such a versatile condiment and is the perfect balance of sweet, spicy, and tangy. With three different ways to make hot honey, you can always have this hot honey recipe on hand!

Ingredients
- 1 cup honey
- 1 teaspoon apple cider vinegar
- 3 tablespoons red chili flakes or 2 sliced jalapenos or 2 to 3 tablespoons of Frank's hot sauce
Instructions
- Add honey, apple cider vinegar, and red chili flakes (or sliced jalapenos or hot sauce) to a small saucepan.
- Heat the honey mixture gently over medium heat just until you see some bubbles near the edge of the saucepan. Stirring gently throughout. Do not allow it to boil!
- Remove the mixture from the heat, and everything infuse for 15 to 20 minutes.
- If using red pepper flakes or jalapenos, strain the honey through a fine mesh sieve into an airtight container. Use immediate or store for later.
