How to Cook Chicken in an Instant Pot

Learn how to cook chicken in an Instant Pot for quick and easy meals!   • chicken breast, thighs, tenders, whole, legs, wings
  • 1 cup chicken broth or water
  • salt or preferred seasonings
  • black pepper or preferred seasonings

Instructions

  1. Place trivet inside the Instant Pot.
  2. Season chicken and place on the trivet, in a single layer.
  3. Pour water or broth into the pot, directly over the chicken.
  4. Seal cooker and set to HIGH pressure. Check time chart in notes for recommended cook time.
  5. When done, release the pressure valve and wait for pressure to release, then let the chicken rest another 5 minutes before serving.
