Ingredients
- 1 cup almonds
Instructions
- If your almonds are loose, place into a freezer safe bag and then follow the next instructions. If you have almonds packaged in a bag, place those inside an appropriately sized freezer safe container.
- Remove as much air as possible from the container (roll the bag up to squeeze out air or use a straw to suck out any extra air and then seal quickly).
- Label the bag with a sharpie style marker indicating what is in the bag and the date it was frozen.
- Place into the freezer. Rotate any older "stock" so that the oldest is at the front where you'll grab it first.
Notes
- If the almonds are loose, it is sometimes easier to double bag in zip lock style bags.
- Be sure to squeeze all of the air out of the bag before freezing.
- Label your bags so that you know when you placed in the freezer.
- If you are. having a problem removing the air from the bag, zip the bag almost completely shut and use a straw to suck the air from the bag and then quickly seal.
- Write on the bag with a sharpie marker to indicate the date stored.
- Freeze in smaller amounts if you only use a few almonds at a time.
