  • baking sheet
  • parchment paper
  • Freezer bag
  • Salad spinner
  • strawberries

Instructions

  1. Line a large baking sheet with parchment paper. Lable a quart-size freezer bag with the date.
  2. Place the berries into a colander or salad spinner and rinse with cold water. Transfer them to a large kitchen towel, and pat dry.
  3. Use a pairing knife to remove the leafy green tops. You can leave the berries whole or slice them into quarters or rounds.
  4. Spread the berries in an even layer on the baking sheet and freeze for 1 hour.
  5. Place the frozen berries in a freezer-safe zip bag, remove the excess air, and seal.
  6. Store the packaged berries in the freezer for up to 3 months.
