Ingredients

Servings
  • 3 1/2 tablespoons butter unsalted
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • ½ cup Parmesan Cheese grated
  • salt for seasoning
  • black pepper

Instructions

  1. Add the butter into a pan and melt it slowly over low heat. Be careful not to burn the butter or let it turn brown. Once melted, stir in the heavy cream and then mix thoroughly. Sprinkle salt and pepper.
  2. Allow the cream mixture to come to a slow boil, increasing heat if necessary. When it starts boiling, reduce the heat and bring to a simmer. The alfredo sauce should begin to have a thicker consistency in just under 5 minutes.
  3. Remove the mixture from heat and stir in the cheese until it melts as well. Serve and enjoy.
