How to Make Granola

Ingredients

  • 2 cups rolled oats
  • 1 cup raw nuts and/or seeds almonds
  • ½ teaspoon cinnamon
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ cup coconut oil melted
  • ½ cup honey
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • ½ cup dried fruit raisins

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 300˚F. Line a large baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a large bowl, combine oats, nuts or seeds, cinnamon and salt. Add the coconut oil, honey and vanilla and stir again until the mixture is well combined.
  3. Transfer the granola mixture onto the prepared baking sheet and spread into an even layer. Bake until the granola is golden brown, stirring halfway through, about 30 minutes.
  4. Allow the granola to cool completely, then stir in the dried fruit and any optional add-ins you’d like. Break the granola into smaller pieces and store in an airtight container.
