This homemade ice cream pie recipe features an Oreo crust, ice cream, nuts, chocolate AND cake! It's a delicious treat that everyone always loves.

  • 1 ½ cups chocolate graham crumbs
  • ¼ cup butter melted
  • 1 pint vanilla ice cream softened
  • 1 ½ cups cake cut into chunks
  • cup Sprinkles
  • ¼ cup chocolate ice cream sauce
  • ¼ cup sliced almonds toasted

Instructions

  1. Get out and measure all of your ingredients.
  2. For this recipe, you can make use of leftover cake from your next event. If you don’t have any cake on hand, you can also buy two or three cupcakes from your local bakery, depending on their size. Regardless, break up whatever cake you have into pieces ranging in size from roughly 1 to 2 inches. You need at least 1 ½ cups.
  3. In a medium mixing bowl, add melted butter and chocolate graham crumbs. Mix with a spoon until well combined.
  4. Press into the bottom and sides of a 9 inch pie plate. Place in freezer for at least 15 minutes.
  5. In a large bowl, mix together ice cream, sprinkles and cake chunks.
  6. Spread mixture onto chocolate crumb crust.
  7. Return to freezer and leave for at least four hours.
  8. When getting ready to serve or serving, pour on chocolate sauce and/or caramel sauce.
  9. Sprinkle with almonds, coconut or another nut.
  10. Finish decorating your ice cream cake with cake.
  11. Enjoy every bite.
