Ingredients

  • 3 egg room temperature, white
  • 3/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/8 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp cream of tartar

Instructions

  1. Using a stand mixer with the whisk attachment on high speed, beat the egg whites together with the sugar until the mixture becomes foamy.
  2. Add in the salt and cream of tartar and beat until the meringue reaches stiff peaks. This will take about 10 minutes.
  3. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and preheat the oven to 200°F. Spoon the meringue into a piping bag. Pipe out 2-inch sized rounds onto the baking sheet, then bake the cookies for about 90 minutes.
  4. Remove the cookies from the oven and allow them to cool and harden at room temperature. Enjoy!
