  • 1 cup nuts The quantity can vary based on your needs, pecans, walnuts, almonds or other nuts

Instructions

Oven Method:

  1. Set your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Spread the nuts in a single layer on a baking sheet. You don’t need to oil or season them for toasting.
  3. Place the baking sheet in the oven and toast the nuts for about 10-15 minutes. This duration can vary slightly depending on the type of nut, so keep an eye on them.
  4. Stir or shake the tray every 5 minutes to ensure even toasting and to prevent burning.
  5. Once they're golden and fragrant, remove the nuts from the oven and let them cool. They will continue to crisp up as they cool.

Stovetop Method:

  1. Place a dry skillet or frying pan on medium heat—no need to add oil or butter.
  2. Once the pan is hot, add the nuts in a single layer.
  3. Cook the nuts, stirring frequently, until they become fragrant and slightly golden, which typically takes about 3-5 minutes.
  4. Remove the nuts from the pan and let them cool. They'll get crunchier as they cool down.
