Individual Bacon Wrapped Meatloaf

Individual Bacon Wrapped Meatloaf makes six small meatloaves encased in overlapping bacon slices, resulting in a smoky, juicy dish. The meat mixture is seasoned with onion, garlic, Worcestershire sauce, and breadcrumbs for texture. After baking, a ketchup-brown sugar glaze adds a sweet and tangy finish that caramelizes during additional cooking, making these perfect for single servings.

Description

This recipe separates the meat mixture into six portions wrapped in bacon strips, ensuring each mini meatloaf has a crispy, smoky exterior and a tender, flavorful interior. Combining ground beef with onion, garlic, Worcestershire sauce, egg, breadcrumbs, salt, and pepper builds a savory base. Baking at moderate temperature cooks the meat thoroughly while crisping the bacon. Applying a glaze made from ketchup, brown sugar, mustard, and Worcestershire sauce late in cooking adds a glossy, sweet tang that complements the bacon’s saltiness.

Designed as individual portions, these meatloaves offer a convenient way to serve personalized servings without slicing a large loaf. They can be paired with classic sides such as mashed potatoes or steamed vegetables for a balanced meal.
