Instant Pot Brown Rice

This Instant Pot brown rice recipe is quick, easy, and foolproof. It produces perfectly soft and fluffy brown rice. This is the quickest and easiest way to make rice. Great for Mexican rice bowls, burritos, tacos, salads, and more!

Ingredients

  • 1 cup brown rice long grain
  • 1 cup water

Instructions

  1. First, rinse the brown rice in a strainer.
  2. Add rice and water to Instant Pot or pressure cooker.
  3. Stir to combine.
  4. Seal the lid of the pot.  Select high pressure.  Set the timer to 15 minutes.
  5. Once the timer goes off, allow pressure to naturally release for 10 minutes.
  6. Then, carefully move the top valve to venting.  Finally, release any remaining pressure manually. Serve Instant Pot brown rice.
