Instant Pot Chicken tacos

Instant Pot Chicken Tacos feature chicken breasts cooked under high pressure with salsa, taco seasoning, chicken broth, and olive oil. The result is shredded chicken infused with taco spices, providing a tender, flavorful filling. Accompanied by soft tortillas or taco shells and toppings like cheese, pico de gallo, avocado, sour cream, and cilantro, this recipe streamlines taco night by using the pressure cooker for quick, hands-off preparation.

Description

This Instant Pot Chicken Tacos recipe uses boneless, skinless chicken breasts cooked with a blend of salsa, taco seasoning, chicken broth, and olive oil inside the pressure cooker. The chicken absorbs the flavors from the salsa and spices during a 15-minute high-pressure cook, resulting in juicy, tender meat.

After cooking, the chicken is shredded easily with forks or an electric mixer, creating a saucy base ideal for tacos. The preparation is simple, relying on the pressure cooker's efficiency to tenderize and season the chicken simultaneously.

Serve the shredded chicken in warmed soft tortillas or taco shells, garnished with accompaniments like shredded cheese, freshly made pico de gallo, sliced avocado, sour cream, and fresh cilantro. This creates a customizable and satisfying taco meal.
