Ingredients
Kitchen Gadgets:
- Instant Pot
- Meat Claws
Instant Pot Shredded Beef Ingredients:
- 1 kg Frozen Beef
- 400 g tinned tomatoes
- 85 g salsa
- 3 Tbsp Mexican seasoning
- 1 Tsp oregano
- salt & pepper
Instructions
- Place the ingredients into the instant pot and mix well.
- Place the lid on the instant pot, set the valve to sealing and cook for an hour on the meat/stew setting.
- Manually release pressure and place a cube of beef on a fork and if it easily falls off the fork it is ready to be shredded.
- Drain the excess liquid from the instant pot and using meat claws shred the beef.
- Serve.
Notes
- You can use any cut of beef for shredding. But beef cubes or beef stewing steak work best.
- Sometimes the instant pot strips the flavour when it cooks for a long time. If this happens add extra salt and Mexican seasoning at the end of cooking.
