Italian Dressing Chicken
Description
This recipe combines chicken pieces with Italian dressing and a mix of seasonings such as paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, Italian seasoning, and adobo seasoning. Sliced red and green bell peppers along with onions are added to the marinade, allowing the flavors to penetrate the chicken over at least an hour. Baking the chicken uncovered at 375°F for an hour thoroughly cooks it, while three tablespoons of butter placed on top (optional) add richness and help create a golden finish.
The resulting dish offers tender, well-seasoned chicken accompanied by sweet and tender bell peppers and onions. The Italian dressing provides moisture and a herby acidity that complements the spices. Serve this as a main dish alongside your choice of sides for a complete meal.
