Italian Pinwheel Recipe
Description
This recipe features large flour tortillas spread edge to edge with a creamy mixture combining softened cream cheese, tangy red pepper spread, chopped pickled peppers, and Italian herbs, seasoned with salt and spices. The addition of provolone and salami slices adds distinct Italian deli flavors and a contrasting texture to the creamy filling.
Rolling tightly and chilling allows the pinwheels to hold their shape when sliced, making them convenient finger food. The result is a combination of creamy, tangy, and savory flavors with a slight pepper bite, enhanced by the herbs and seasonings.
These Italian Pinwheels are well suited for parties, potlucks, or as simple snacks. They can be prepared ahead of time and served cold or at room temperature, providing a neat, flavorful option that's easy to serve to multiple guests.
