Ingredients

INGREDIENTS:

  • 6-7 chicken thighs
  • 1/2 cup soy sauce low sodium
  • 2 tablespoons Sriracha sauce
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 1/4 cup light brown sugar packed
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic minced
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  • 1/4 cup pineapple juice
  • 6-7 pineapple slices, fresh or canned

Instructions

For the Chicken:

  1. Combine the soy sauce, Sriracha sauce, water, brown sugar, garlic, sesame oil, and pineapple juice, stir to combine.
  2. Add your chicken into a container and pour your sauce all over it.
  3. Seal and place in your refrigerator for 6 to 24 hours to marinate.
  4. The longer it sits the more flavor the chicken will have.
  5. Heat the stovetop to a medium.
  6. Grill to a medium if grilling
  7. Remove the chicken from the marinade and cook or grill for 6-7 minutes on each side or until chicken is cooked through.
  8. Place the chicken in a skillet or cast iron.

For the Pineapple:

  1. Add the pineapple to the chicken.
  2. Add remaining sauce to the chicken.
  3. Brush it on evenly.
  4. Heat the oven to broil high.
  5. Or if grilling - place a lid on top of the skillet and place it on the gill and close the grills lid.
  6. Cook for 2-3 minutes if in the oven or 6-7 on the gill.
  7. Arrange the pineapple and chicken on a serving plate or skillet.
  8. Garnish with lime wedges, jalapeños, and green onions if desired.
  9. ENJOY!!
