Ingredients

Servings
  • 1 cup All-purpose flour (maida)
  • 5 gram yeast (dissolved in warm water)
  • a pinch of salt
  • 1 teaspoon oil
  • ½ teaspoon yoghurt
  • ½ egg
  • 1 cup water

Keema Filling

  • 100 gram of minced beef
  • 2 small green chillies
  • 1 Medium onion
  • 1 Medium tomato
  • 1 teaspoon of ginger garlic paste
  • 2 teaspoon of oil

Spices

  • salt to taste
  • 1 teaspoon red chilli powder
  • ½ teaspoon of Turmeric powder
  • 1 teaspoon of coriander powder

Instructions

Dough Making

  1. Mix flour, a pinch of salt, dissolved yeast, yoghurt, and 1 teaspoon oil in a bowl. Add half a beaten egg, then gradually mix in 1 cup of water and ½ teaspoon oil. Cover and let the dough rise for an hour.

For Filling

  1. In a pan, heat 2 tablespoon of oil. Add onions, fry 1 min. Add green chillies, ginger garlic paste, fry 1 min more. Add tomato cubes, cook until soft. Add minced beef, fry till it changes color. Add spices, mix, cook for a few mins. Add ½ cup water, simmer till dry. Remove from heat.

Making Naan

  1. Divide the dough into 2 portions, grease with oil, and shape into rounds. Fill with keema filling, flatten, and shape like parathas. Cook in a pan with butter until golden on both sides, flipping as needed.

Notes

  • Pro Tips:
  • While making dough make sure your bowl sides are dry.
  • if your dough is sticky it means your dough is perfect, if it is not sticky then you have miss something like yeast etc.
  • Make sure your hands are clean
