Keto Adobo Air Fried Chicken Thighs

Keto Adobo Air Fried Chicken Thighs feature large chicken thighs coated in olive oil and a spiced adobo seasoning blend, then cooked in an air fryer until browned and juicy. The result combines the deep, smoky-salty flavors of adobo with a crispy outside and tender inside, making a low-carb meal option with straightforward preparation.

Description

Preparing Keto Adobo Air Fried Chicken Thighs involves coating the chicken in olive oil to help the adobo seasoning adhere and promote browning. The seasoning typically includes strong spices that characterize adobo’s signature flavor. By air frying in a single layer without crowding, the chicken cooks evenly to an internal temperature of 165°F, developing a golden crust on both sides after flipping midway through the cooking time.

The air fryer cooks the chicken with minimal additional fat while producing a texture reminiscent of pan-frying or roasting. The seasoning imparts a slightly salty, smoky profile typical of adobo dishes, making these thighs flavorful without extra sauces. They suit keto and low-carb diets and can be paired with vegetable sides for a balanced meal.

The recipe’s notes suggest using a lighter or low sodium version of adobo seasoning for less saltiness, as the original seasoning can be strong. Adjusting seasoning to taste ensures the dish meets personal preferences.
