Ingredients
Cheeseburger Skillet:
- 4 ounce Bacon
- 16 ounce ground beef
- ½ medium onion
- 2 tablespoon tomato paste
- 2 teaspoon yellow mustard
- 2 ounce cream cheese
- ½ cup beef broth
- ½ teaspoon onion powder
- ½ teaspoon garlic powder
- salt and pepper to taste
- ¾ cup shredded cheddar cheese
Side Salad:
- 16 ounce spring mix
- 4 tablespoon olive oil
- 4 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
- salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Measure out and prepare all the ingredients. Chop bacon into small pieces.
- Add the chopped bacon to a skillet and cook over medium to high heat until the bacon is crispy. Remove from the skillet and set aside.
- With the bacon grease still in the bottom of the pan, add the ground beef and the onion to the pan. Cook until the meat is brown. Drain any extra grease.
- Once the meat is brown, add in the tomato paste, yellow mustard, cream cheese, beef broth, onion and garlic powder. Stir this together until everything is melted and mixed well. It should form a thick sauce.
- Lower the heat to low then add the cooked bacon and shredded cheddar cheese.
- Cover the pan while simmering and let it sit for 6-7 minutes.
- While the food is simmering, start the side salad by combining the olive oil, apple cider vinegar, and salt and pepper to a small bowl.
- Toss the dressing in the spring mix.
- Serve the cheeseburger skillet with the side salad. Serve and enjoy!
