  • 4 chicken thighs bone in and skin on
  • 2 Tbsp. olive oil
  • 3 tsp. garlic minced
  • 4 Tbsp. honey sugar free
  • lemon juice from ½
  • 2 tsp. thyme dried
  • ½ tsp. onion powder
  • salt to taste
  • black pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 425 degrees.
  2. Add all of the ingredients to a Ziploc bag, and shake to combine.
  3. Marinate the chicken for at least 30 minutes before cooking.
  4. Place the chicken into a 9x13 baking dish, and pour the remaining marinade over the chicken.
  5. Bake for 30-35 minutes until browned and completely cooked through.

Notes

  • If using boneless skinless thighs, reduce cooking time and monitor for doneness.
  • Skinless chicken breasts require a lower temperature to avoid drying out.
  • Marinating at least 30 minutes improves flavor, but cooking immediately after mixing also works.
  • Leave space between chicken pieces in the pan to ensure even cooking.
