Keto Meatballs

Keto Meatballs combine ground beef and Italian pork sausage with mozzarella and Parmesan cheeses, eggs, and a blend of garlic, onion powder, and Italian spices. Baked until cooked through and topped with marinara and melted cheese, they are rich and flavorful without breading. The texture is hearty from the mixed meats and creamy cheese, finishing with a melted cheesy topping. They fit well in low-carb meals and can be garnished with fresh herbs for added flavor.

Description

This recipe blends equal parts ground beef and Italian pork sausage, ensuring a balance of robust flavor and moisture, combined with shredded mozzarella and grated Parmesan cheese for richness. Eggs bind the mixture alongside garlic, onion powder, kosher salt, Italian seasoning, black pepper, and crushed red pepper flakes, adding mild spice and depth. The meatballs are portioned and baked in a casserole dish at 400°F till no longer pink inside, then drained of excess grease.

Afterwards, marinara sauce is spooned over each meatball and topped with the remaining mozzarella, baked briefly until the cheese melts and bubbles, creating a flavorful crust. The dish is optionally garnished with fresh basil or parsley to introduce freshness.

These meatballs offer a satisfying, cheesy, and savory meal component that fits well into ketogenic or low-carb diets, suitable for serving alongside vegetables or low-carb sides without breading.
