Keto Philly CheeseSteak Skillet Recipe
Description
Thin slices of flank steak are seared in butter with Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper to develop a flavorful crust. Separately, green and red bell peppers, onions, and minced garlic are sautéed in butter until softened. The cooked vegetables are combined back with the steak in the skillet and briefly cooked together on low heat to meld flavors.
Slices of provolone cheese are placed over the steak and vegetable mixture, and the skillet is covered and heated until the cheese melts completely, forming a creamy topping. The dish is typically served with a fresh side salad to complement the rich protein and vegetables.
Variations include substituting flank steak with round or sirloin steak. Leftovers can be stored refrigerated in an airtight container for up to a week.

- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
