Love kippers? This kipper recipe uses canned kipper and a quick yogurt sauce to make Smoked Fish Sliders! These mini sandwiches are perfect for summer picnics and barbecues, and are ready in 5 minutes.

Ingredients
Smoked Fish Sliders:
- 1 can kippers (~3oz) King Oscar kipper snacks recommended
- 4 slider buns
- To Serve: microgreens or green leafy lettuce
Yogurt Sauce:
- ½ cup plain yogurt (whole milk preferred)
- 1 tablespoon Sriracha Or use your favorite hot sauce

Instructions
- Drain kippers, and flake apart fish.
- Mix together the yogurt and sriracha. (Add sriracha to taste-- use more or less as preferred.)Note: You will have extra yogurt sauce. Use it for more sliders, or store it in the fridge and add it to eggs, tacos, or sandwiches.
- Assemble the sliders by dividing the fish between the buns, and topping with a dollop of yogurt sauce. Add microgreens or lettuce to the sliders if desired.
- Serve immediately, or keep chilled until guests serve themselves. (See Recipe Notes for serving tips.)
Notes
- This recipe is easily multiplied. As written, the recipe uses 1 can of kipper snacks, and makes 3-4 smoked fish sliders OR 2 larger sandwiches. Simply multiply the recipe for the amount of guests you're serving.
- Food Safety / Serving Tip: Avoid leaving these sandwiches out for long periods of time in the hot summer heat. If the sandwiches will be sitting out in the heat, try setting them on a serving tray, and then place that tray on top of a tray of ice.
- Nutrition information will vary depending on the amount of sauce used. These calculations assume that 2 tsp of sauce are used per slider bun.
