Korean Ground Beef and Rice Bowls
Description
This recipe features lean ground beef cooked with minced garlic until browned and crumbled, then simmered briefly in a sauce made from soy sauce, brown sugar, sesame oil, ground ginger, red pepper flakes, and black pepper. This mixture infuses the beef with a sweet, savory, and slightly spicy profile characteristic of Korean flavors.
The beef is served hot over freshly cooked white or brown rice, providing a gentle base that absorbs the sauce. Toppings of sliced green onions and toasted sesame seeds enhance the bowl with mild crunch and an herbal brightness.
