Lavender Lemon Drop Martini Recipe
Description
This cocktail recipe combines 3 ounces of lemon juice with 1.5 ounces of lavender simple syrup, 2 ounces of orange liqueur, and 4 ounces of vodka, all shaken vigorously over ice. The resulting martini offers a tart lemon base enhanced by the floral notes of lavender and a subtle sweetness from the syrup and liqueur.
The lavender lemon sugar rimmer is prepared by blending lemon zest, culinary lavender buds, and granulated sugar, which coats the edge of chilled martini glasses after being moistened with lemon juice. This rim adds texture and a fragrant citrus-lavender aroma with each sip. Garnishes of lemon wheels or lavender sprigs emphasize the floral-citrus theme visually.
The cocktail is strained into prepared glasses and served immediately, providing a refreshing and aromatic drink suitable for special occasions or a sophisticated evening beverage. Pre-chilling the glasses enhances the crispness of the martini.
Note: The sugar rim mix yields enough for about 10-12 glasses depending on rim size. The nutritional info applies only to the drink itself, excluding the sugar rim coating.
