Lazy cake

Lazy cake assembles crushed Marie biscuits combined with melted butter, cocoa powder, and sweetened condensed milk, forming a no-bake chocolate biscuit dessert. After mixing, it's shaped into a loaf or log and frozen until firm. The texture is dense and fudgy, offering a set chocolate biscuit treat without baking. This treat suits those looking for a simple dessert preparation using pantry staples.

Description

Lazy cake is a no-bake dessert combining crushed Marie biscuits with a rich mixture of melted butter, cocoa powder, and sweetened condensed milk. After mixing, the biscuit chunks are coated evenly and pressed into a loaf pan or rolled into a log using foil. It is then frozen for several hours until set, creating a firm chocolate biscuit cake. The cookies provide a crunchy texture, tempered by the creamy cocoa and condensed milk mixture, resulting in a dense, fudgy consistency that slices easily.

The method requires no baking, relying on chilling to solidify the cake, making it accessible for home cooks without an oven. You can cut it into slices and serve cold, making it a handy dessert or snack. The straightforward ingredients and preparation suit casual entertaining or preparing a sweet treat ahead of time.
