Description

Ingredients
- 1 lemon cake mix box
- 1/2 cup butter melted
- 1 egg large
Lemon Filling:
- 1 - 8 oz cream cheese softened
- 2 egg large
- 2 C powdered sugar
- 1/2 C butter melted
- 3 lemon juice of large lemons
- 1 tsp lemon extract pure
- 2 lemon zested, large lemons
- 1 -2 tsp powdered sugar to sprinkle on top of bars
Instructions
Crust:
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees and spray a 9x13 baking dish with baking spray or line with parchment paper.
- Using a large bowl, beat until combined the cake mix, melted butter, and egg.
- Press evenly into the baking dish.
- Using a large bowl, beat the cream cheese and powdered sugar until combined and smooth.
- Beat in the eggs, lemon zest, lemon juice, and lemon extract until combined.
- Beat in the melted butter until combined.
- Pour the batter on top of the crust.
- Bake in the oven for 35-45 or until a light golden brown.
- Remove from oven and allow to cool completely.
- Dust with powdered sugar and cut into bars and enjoy!
