  • 4 ounces cream cheese softened, 112g
  • 3 tablespoons butter softened
  • 1 cup powdered sugar 113g
  • lemon zest from 1
  • 1-2 tablespoons lemon juice, to taste

Instructions

  1. In the bowl of a stand mixer fitted with the whisk attachment, combine the cream cheese, butter, powdered sugar, lemon zest and 1 tablespoon of lemon juice. Beat on low speed to start, then increase to medium-high speed and mix until smooth and fluffy, 1 to 2 minutes. (Alternatively, whisk the frosting by hand.) Immediately spread on your favorite baked treats or refrigerate for up to one week in an airtight container.
