Lemon Fudge
Description
This lemon fudge starts by combining white chocolate chips with sweetened condensed milk, butter, lemon juice, and a portion of the lemon zest in a pot over low to medium heat. Stirring continuously melts and blends the ingredients into a smooth, creamy mixture. Pouring the mixture into a parchment-lined pan and sprinkling the remaining lemon zest on top creates an appealing finish. Allowing the fudge to set overnight at room temperature results in firm squares with a smooth texture that deliver both sweet and tart lemon flavors. The fudge is cut into 1-inch squares, making it easy to serve as a citrus-flavored dessert or candy bite. The balance between white chocolate sweetness and lemon's brightness gives a distinctive taste experience.
