Lemon Shrimp Linguine
Description
Lemon Shrimp Linguine brings together medium peeled and deveined shrimp sautéed in olive oil and seasoned simply with garlic powder and black pepper. The linguine is cooked separately and then combined with a sauce made from olive oil, shallots, garlic powder, white wine, chicken bone broth, chopped grilled artichoke hearts, capers, and kalamata olives. After simmering and reducing the liquid, heavy cream and lemon juice are stirred in, delivering a creamy, slightly tangy sauce that complements the shrimp's natural flavors. The shrimp are folded back into the sauce with the cooked pasta, allowing the ingredients to meld.
The texture highlights tender shrimp alongside pasta coated evenly in a sauce that balances acidity from lemon and brine from olives and capers. The preparation involves pan-searing shrimp and reducing the sauce liquids to concentrate flavors without overwhelming the freshness of the seafood. The dish is finished with a topping of grated cheese and parsley to add a mild sharpness and herbaceous brightness.
This recipe is ideal for serving as a main course for dinner, pairing well with a light green salad or crusty bread to soak up the sauce. It provides a flavorful seafood pasta that is rich yet balanced, suitable for cooks comfortable with stovetop techniques and ingredient layering.
