Leprechaun Bait Snack Mix

Leprechaun Bait Snack Mix is a sweet and crunchy treat featuring Chex cereal coated in a melted mixture of white chocolate, peanut butter, and butter, then tossed in powdered sugar and colored food powder. This festive snack combines creamy coating and cereal crunch, chilled to set for a slightly crisp texture and colorful finish, making it a playful snack for gatherings or celebrations.

Description

The Leprechaun Bait Snack Mix combines a large quantity of Chex cereal with a melted blend of white chocolate, creamy peanut butter, and butter. After stirring in vanilla, this rich chocolate mixture is folded gradually into the cereal to evenly coat it. The coated cereal is then tossed with a powdered sugar and powdered food coloring blend, which covers the pieces with a sweet and festive coating. The mix is spread out and chilled for about an hour to allow the coating to firm up slightly, producing a crisp and flavorful snack.

The texture balances creamy sweetness from the peanut butter and white chocolate with the crunch of the cereal. The colored powdered sugar adds a visual appeal suitable for themed occasions. This no-bake snack does not require cooking, just melting and mixing.

It can be stored at room temperature or chilled depending on preference. The recipe yields a large batch perfect for sharing and casual snacking.
