Lightened Up Buffalo Chicken in the Slow Cooker

A crock pot makes this lightened up buffalo chicken easy to prepare and full of flavor. Perfect for game day or any day you need to feed a crowd!Yield: 6 c shredded chicken

Ingredients
- 3 lbs chicken breast *
- 1 onion, diced
- 1 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 (6 oz) can tomato paste
- 2 Tbsp white vinegar
- ¾ c hot sauce
- 4 Tbsp Worcestershire sauce
- 1 Tbsp molasses
- 1 ½ tsp paprika
- Tabasco sauce (to taste)

Instructions
- Place chicken and onions in a 4 quart or larger slow cooker.
- Mix together remaining ingredients (except Tabasco) and pour over chicken.
- Let cook on low for 4-6 hours or on high for 2-3 hours.
- Remove chicken to a plate and shred with two forks.
- Return shredded chicken to the crock pot and continue to cook on low for an hour. (If there is too much liquid, cook uncovered. Add additional hot sauce if there is too little liquid.)
- Just before serving, add Tobasco sauce to your desired heat level.
- Serve over buns with blue cheese or ranch.
Notes
- *If your chicken is frozen, no problem! Just add 1-2 hours to the first cooking time.
