Lightened Up Chipotle Chicken and Avocado Melts
Description
Lightened Up Chipotle Chicken and Avocado Melts use sliced chicken breast seasoned with Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper, cooked in olive oil until done and rested before slicing. The sandwich assembly involves layering chipotle sauce, sliced avocado, and chicken between two bread slices, then toasting them in a pan with olive oil or butter until golden brown on both sides. This method yields a sandwich with a crisp exterior and creamy, mildly spicy filling.
The avocado adds a smooth, fresh contrast to the smoky chipotle sauce, while the bread provides a sturdy base for the tender chicken slices.
