Lucky Charms Treats Recipe
Description
This recipe starts by melting butter and mini marshmallows together until smooth and combined with pure vanilla extract for added flavor. The mixture is stirred with Lucky Charms cereal and pressed into a parchment-lined baking pan. Additional Lucky Charms marshmallows are sprinkled on top and gently pressed into the surface. After chilling for about 30 minutes, the treats firm up into chewy, sweet bars.
The result is a colorful, soft snack with a balance of sweet marshmallow and crunchy cereal pieces, recognizable for the iconic Lucky Charms marshmallows. The texture is pliable and sticky, making these bars enjoyable for casual snacking or festive occasions.
These treats can be served as a fun dessert or a quick sweet snack. They are especially enjoyed around St. Patrick's Day but can be made year-round by substituting marshmallows or mix-ins.
Proper storage in an airtight container keeps the treats fresh for up to five days at room temperature or frozen up to six weeks. Avoid pressing the cereal mixture too hard to maintain desired texture, and line the pan with parchment for easy removal.
