Maple Sriracha Chicken Wings
Report
Air fried chicken wings coated in a sweet and spicy sauce made from maple syrup and sriracha. These are crispy and flavorful and actually super easy to make.

Ingredients
- 2 lbs chicken wings
- 2½ tbsp cornstarch
- 5 tbsp maple syrup
- 2 tbsp Sriracha
- cooking spray
- 1 tsp ground ginger optional
- green onions chopped, optional
- sesame seeds optional
- salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Dry the wings with a paper towel and coat with cornstarch, salt and pepper.
- Preheat the air fryer to 400°F on the air fryer settings for 12 minutes. Place the wings in and spray with oil. Shake every couple of minutes during the cooking process. If you don’t have an air fryer you can try the oven but it won’t be as good.
- Mix together the syrup, sriracha, and ground ginger in a bowl.
- Once the wings have crisped up, add the wings into the sauce bowl and toss. Garnish with green onion and sesame seeds if you want to be fancy.
- NOTE: Counting calories in things with bones is not the easiest. The way I did it here was to weigh the wings raw with the bones and then weighed the bones after eating and finding the difference. The estimate is per wing for what I had and I had 20 wings. If you have bigger or smaller wings your mileage may vary.
